Overview:
Mississippi State University is a comprehensive, land-grant university located in the eastern part of north-central Mississippi state, USA. Its grounds are housed on 4,200 acres of beautiful land, and the students come from all over the country and around the world. In attendance, it is the largest university in the state. The University was founded in 1878 as a land grant institution. The mascot is a Bulldog, and one of the great traditions of the University is the ringing of the cowbell, Bully, during special events and athletic games.

It offers degrees ranging from undergraduate to doctoral, and has a world-class College of Veterinary Medicine in addition to its other Colleges and Schools. The university awards more than 3000 courses and enrolls over 16,000 students every year. Continue reading →
